Food category for Off-Topic?

I was wondering if could get a Food/Beverage category for the Off Topic forums. It seems it gets talked about enough. So, would it be possible?

So when do we get a barbeque category? I mean really. We can't just lump that in with Food.

But of course, that would require something along the lines of the sub-categories in Gamers Seeking Gamers. Start with the one true Q, Memphis, the add the next almost as good, NC [which has it's own sub of SC], then KC, Backyard Grilling, and The Pork/Beef Debates, with a Goat sub-category. Texas may rate it's own tag eventually. Until then, all "exotic" Qs could be labeled either "California" or "Tex-Mex-Cuban".

You're talking smack, but I haven't seen any proof. Bring some of that bbq up to Boston. Then I might believe you!

Boston? You eat food other than baked beans?

Though, admittedly, even as a Southerner, I use New England style sauces and mustard stuffs (as opposed to tomato based stuff).

Of course, I do that to acheive the perfect fusion of barbecues.
