Sanackranib,

If you join Scarntalk (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scarntalk/)
you will find my calendar in the files section.

Similar to the one that Nightfall sent you, mine shows each season in a seperate workbook, since you can then print each season on one page, which might satisfy your needs (depends on how much space you actually want for each date).

History: Hullen is the third son in the small noble family from the Northfalia area. He was born under the sign of Turros, the Tower, on the second Charday of Heder. His father was a skilled man but thought at least one of his sons should have knowledge of the arcane arts. He was sent to the Vault at an early age where his aptitude for magic was considered quite good, but not exceptional. Hullen trained with the mages there, until his mastery of the spells was average. A man of great faith, Hullen's nature led him to learn from the Blessed Cabalists (as those who learn of the gods of good are called) as well as from the Hedradan Cabalists. After a time, his father recalled him to help with his lands. Hullen, though not terrible interested in politics or regional disputes, was a dutiful son and returned. He advised his father and older brother for a time, and also went out among the children, showing of a few spells. He also managed to find an exceptionally talented young boy. He was later sent off to the Vault, to be trained. The Vault then declared that Hullen's new assignment was tracking as well as finding new mages among the common people of Darakeene. Hullen readily accepted the job, feeling confident this was part of his calling. Hullen wanders the land of Darakeene, looking out for new mages (mostly those that might be trouble) as well as helping those that might have the talent/aptitude but have no way of learning much. Currently he's on assignment in the Wexland province, but he does maintain a small residence in Meliad's Southgate Reach district.

Appearance/Personality: Not a very remarkable looking man, Hullen does have a distinguishing mark on his right hand, a small 7 pointed star shaped scar. His dull brown hair fall around his ears, while his watery blue eyes seem to show a weak character, but really it's part of his way of disarming people. Hullen is a very non-confrontational type. While he's motivated to do good Hullen is also interested in expanding arcane knowledge as best he can. He's a very retiring sort, not much for combat or adventure. He prefers to be comfortable, and thus tends to live beyond his means. He also, some times on a whim, will hire out adventurers to help him with specifics tasks. One of his dreams is be an instructor in the Vault. He does miss his family, but mostly his two younger siblings. His sister Marian is to be betrothed to a smarmy, man who is much older than she is. This is a marriage of convenience as his family is one of both influence and wealth. He dotes on her, often sending her little gifts when he can. His younger brother, Silam, is considering life in the military colleges. Hullen worries that perhaps with the growing conflicts, Silam might be called on to serve or perhaps join on of the mercenary companies and end up dying in some distant land. Thus he often tries to find a strong fatherly type to help him with his brother.

scarred lands calander

Thanks for the calander leed. I already told 1 of my PC's to come up with one though so I'll wait and compair the 2. I would have been surprised if I had been the 1st 1 to have this idea, but since I'm not doing the work on it . . . . andd I told him I would give him some bonus xp for it, I think I'll let him finish. I figured I would post it so that others could benifit from a usefull utility.

scarred lands

the NPC's Im comming up with as I go -It sucks to come up with a good one and have the party change direction and not encounter them. I like to have the players drive the game so I try to stay open to what they are trying to do.

If you have other bpc then feel free to post them and I'll try to work them in, variety is great and you (as well as others) would construct them differntly then I (just look at Carnack). Sites, inns, and other encounters are always welcome. as my campaign progresses I will be sure to post some of mine as well.

When my player comes up with a calander I will post it for comments, downloads etc. it may be a while though he just got the info yesterday:p

Hurloon
Village Pop. 650
(Humans 85%, 10Dwarf %, Halfling 5%, Elf (Wood), 3%, Half-elf 2%)
Ruler: Mayor Thrusan Weel (N, Expert5/Com 2) and the City Council (made up of 7 Com 1st-3rd)
Gold Piece Limit: 200 gp
Resources: Wood, wool, agriculture, iron ore
Religion: Same as Darakeene but also shrines to Enkili and Madriel are prominent
Militia: 75 1st-5th warriors (militia), 15 3rd-4th fighters (captains), Leader, Commander Targus Fallow, 4th Fighter/3rd Ranger

Hurloon is a rather large bustling border village that draws much of its trade between the provinces of East and West Mohrland. The most significant feature for this bustling town is the high quality iron and gold found here. There are five quarries outside of town, two for each province and one that also is apart of United Provinces. This gold mine is always heavily guarded, and always by a small contingent of Imperial guardsmen, a wizard and cleric (usually a Coreanic but some times Hedradans volunteer)

Hooks: The mining operations for Easter Mohrland have been slowing down due to numerous accidents and miners ending up dead. Some claim the mines are now cursed, or that they awoke something that was not meant to be disturbed. Regardless, Mayor Thrusan is looking for able bodies to help aid in this mystery. The Imperial forces will not get involved as they are only responsible for their mine, which apparently is uninfected.

The mines are not the only problem for. The town itself is now becoming divided on loyalties, as the provinces are starting to decide on acceptable deity practices. As such the more conservative elements in West Mohrland are trying to shut down all shrines to the dark gods as well as shrines to the Trickster. This has led to some anxious times as the people here are a free-spirited sort, open to all the gods. For now they are concerned that perhaps West Mohrland will try to claim them as part of the province.

In times of high tensions, few might not notice a shadow or two creeping up behind them. One such shadow is that of a new enemy in their midst. That enemy comes in the form of a Skeletal Host. Chased from his once comfortable living as a manipulator in Magh Trego, the Skeletal Host is now trying to stir up resentment on both sides, as well as bring in titanspawn to attack the village. For now, no one suspects the elderly peasant Iadago, formerly of Meliad. But soon that might change.

Just a question to you guys:

How many *Scarred Lands* adventure modules have been published by S&S? By looking at the Reviews area, I only see one (A Serpent in the Fold).

Thanks :)
