For those who run in the Scarred Lands what is your favorite area to adventure

Just a question to you guys:

How many *Scarred Lands* adventure modules have been published by S&S? By looking at the Reviews area, I only see one (A Serpent in the Fold).

Thanks :)

Actually it will be two soon. The Serpent Amphora cycle part 2: Serpent and the Scepter, will be released on the 25th. The third and final part I believe comes out in Feburary, which is titled The Serpent Citadel.

I know that seems like a lot of militia but some of that is also the Imperial Guard.

I set it just about a half mile on the other side (western side) of a mountain where Llangwyr is. The border I put in a small irregular circle for West Mohrland.

So thecnically it's not in Darakeene right? I fI were to add this into daraakeen ,with the new legion system that darakeene uses Iwould station the following troops here: 1 unit of 99 men and 1 wizard, in my game. these would be supplemented by the local militia (approx 1-20 of the village population) or roughly 33 people counting the militia sargent and 3 corporals. also the troops would not be "in town all year" but would be out patrolling esp. during non-winter months.

I don't have my map in front of me but I'm sure I can work this location in.:D

It should be inside Darakenee. West my friend, NOT east. Just look at the map and you'll see what I mean.

as I said earier I don't have my map in front of me. west is good. my players are in Llangwyr (along the western edde of Darakeene) north of Melaid. it looks as if the party will head northwest to the phylartic vault or south to the mage fair I told them was going to be happening in Melaid soon.:D

scarred lands

They heard "mage fair" from a mage traveling to Melaid (carnack)
The "mage fair" is just one small part of the festival of folwers - how else am I gonna turn them in the direction of the capital (south) when the are headed north if not with juicy rumors weither exagerated or not?

I get you San. Course I'm sure you'll just try to have a few mages showing off for the festival. Dunno how else I would...but there's always a way I'm sure! :)

I figured I would have a few "techno-mages" lighting off fireworks and spells (ie: Gandolf at Bilbo's b-day-lord of the rings style) I will have some magical contest - using 2 or 3d Illusions. mostly stuff to make the peasntry go ohhh ahhh without really doing much. Also there will be people selling a lot of items - everything from food and clothes to potions and scrolls, also a lot of crafts constructed over the winter. whenever a lot of people are agathered in 1 place there is always sombody looking to turn a profit. I plan to have a lot of contests -races, displays of strength etc. the festival will last for a week and will begin with the actual day of the festival of flowers. After all its been a hard winter and people have been basically cooped up for months so they need to vent off some steam.
