Forced Movement and Walking Wounded

Not to derail the thread too much, but is there any actual rule that says you can't shift while prone? It recently came up in a play and it would be really helpful to know.

PHB errata for prone says you can't move while prone, only crawl or teleport. Though you can still be pushed, pulled, or slid.

As DM my reading of the rules would only allow this to occur on a voluntary move action. However...

This begs the question of Close Quarters. If an ally force moves the target, does the rogue still move with him? If I were to be consistent with rulings I would have to say no, but my DM gut tells me yes on the Close Quarters question.

So if you get pushed while you're prone, it doesn't count as moving, since you can't move while prone?

It does count as moving, but it's an exception to the 'you can't move' rule.

You can't move from your space, although you can teleport, crawl, or be
forced to move by a pull, a push, or a slide.

And, again, we have a push, pull, or slide defined as you moving...

Walking wounded (rogue daily 5) states: "Until the end of the encounter, if the target moves more than half its speed in a single action, it is knocked prone at the end of its movement."

The question is simple: Is forced movement, such as the slide caused by positioning strike, or the push from thunderwave, sufficient to knock the target prone if the distance of the push, pull, or slide exceeds half the target's speed?
The intent seems pretty clear to me. Forced movement will not trigger the knockdown effect.

Only movement taken during the target's turn can cause it.
