"That's okay. Rocks will get shinies for Grackle," the gnome says, ogling the multitude of shiny treasures in the room ahead. He grunts and grinds his teeth and jabbers in the Terran language, conjuring up a pair of gnome-sized rockpiles, which shuffle forward and begin sweeping and carrying treasure out of the room at Grackle's command, like broad, animated, stone brooms, piling it up just outside the doorway. (Terran) "Hi rocks, move shiny things, bottles, scrolls, and stuff out of that room for Grackle, quickly!"

And so it begins...

The gnome sized elementals (e1 and e2 on map) stride forward brooms held ready and begin to gather the treasure as you all watch from outside the door. They swirl up a cloud of dust as they move. It forms into a vague man-shape that begins to move purposefully and then to take on a horrific aspect that causes the hair on the back of your neck to rise. The skull on the bier at the back of the room also begins to rise slowly into the air.

OOC: DC16 Fort saves for all. I'll give you all a free action since you were ready for trouble and you can have initiative in the order you post, so post a standard action and a full round of actions.

[sblock=If you fail the save]Please roll 1d4 for str damage, 1d4 for dex damage and 1d4 for con damage for your self.[/sblock]

[sblock=Grackle]You may pick four items from the room that the elements have placed in a pile at your feet so far. There could be something useful in the treasures. Feel free to read the sblock for Logan above for the list.[/sblock]

[sblock=Successful DC20 knowledge religion check]The swirling dust is in fact an undead a Ghost.[/sblock]

[sblock=Successful DC20 knowledge arcane check]The skull is an arcane construct similar to a golem and likely immune to many spells.[/sblock]

Ballista's resolve holds her steady as she is unshaken by the appearance of the ghost. The soft song of inspiration comes pouring from the lips of the compact bard on the ceiling as her dark eyes flash bright to embolden the epic ballad. Then she levels the massive relic bow at the spirit upside down unleashing a trio of javelin sized arrows.[sblock=combat block]Standard: Inspire Courage

OOC - If it has AC higher than 20 then the 2nd & 3rd shots get a +4 to hit.

"by all that is holy?! What is this? a ghost and a floating skull!

as harrison's strength of fighting is melee combat and that is what he was prepare for he moves to L9 and redies to attack if the ghost moves forward. He will attack if it moves in range.

Logan stands boldy and calls on Pelor's aid to drive away the foul ghostly figure. (OOC: regular turning against the ghost. Logan has a hunch that there is something very peculiar about that skull, so he's saving his Greater Turning for it.) "By the mighty flame of Pelor, I abjure thee! Get thee back to thy grave foul apparition!"
