Zorn notices the crystal box along with the silver ring. Noting the ring glows with magic, he cocks an eyebrow.

Interesting. I wonder what else we may yet discover.

Opening the silver chest reveals a crystal box at the bottom of the chest. Inside you can see a silver ring. Zorn having no doubt maintained his detect magic, sees an aura of abjuration magic coming from the ring. The crystal box is likely of some value as well.

Continuing on her path of caution, Jillian turns to her companions. "Let us wait until we are relatively sure that no traps await us." She then takes her time searching the inside of the chest for any sign of a trap. Should she find one she will attempt to disarm it.

Jillian is confident that she has disarmed a non-magical trap that would have been sprung by the removal of the box. The crystal box now safely removed the ring is easy enough to access. No locks or traps are found on it. You estimate box itself is worth a thousand gold pieces. The other two chests loom silently, their treasures still hidden.

As Logan watches Jillian disarm the trap and obtain the ring, he gulps involuntarily and beads of sweat form on his brow. Then, when she succeeds, he releases a grateful sigh and mops his head with a cloth.

Jillian stows the crystal box and then takes a look at the ring. After admiring the ring she tries it on. Then she grimaces as she tries to take it off. Should she be able to take it off, then she will put it back on. If all goes well she will then turn to the oak chest and once more search it for any signs of traps. If she finds one she will attempt to disarm it. Then she will attempt to open it.

thinking that the Rogue would be satisfied once she had successfully and safely obtained the box and ring, Logan is greatly dismayed to see Jillian pressing her luck by opening another of the chests. He throws his right arm over his eyes and turns away. "Pelor's Prodigious Pxxxx, I can't watch!"

Ballista takes a front-row seat indian style within the bubble, and pulls a bag of sunflower seeds from her pack. She starts munching away with wide eyed anticipation of being entertained. "This should be good."
