Jillian Tealeaf, Rogue9, AC27,FF21,T19, HP32/37, F+4,R+13,W+5

Hearing Harrison's question, Jillian carefully searches the six pew compartments for any sign of traps. Then she will attempt to disarm the traps in the last two pews.

OOC: Continuing to take 20 on search checks for 34 and take 10 on Disable Device check for 26. If the first trap should get sprung in her effort then she will not attempt to disarm the other.

"I could try, Zorn, but I am afraid that the outcome would be none too certain. In a place such as this, the evil can be quite persistent. I don't actually have the necessary spells prepared currently, anyway, but even were I to cast a Hallow blessing and a Dispel Evil blessing, I suspect that the most that could be accomplished would be a suppression of the evil for a short time. No, I fear that such a permanent blessing would require an entire team of priests and several days work, at least. ... And rather more holy water than I can carry, as well."

Grackle finishes staring and drooling at the murals, and goes to look at the shinies Harrison was about to grab. The gnome utters an "oooooh, shiny" and is about to grab some shinies for himself when Harrison stops him. Then Grackle hears the question to Jill, and he squeaks out "Grackle see poisons! Grackle find!" He claps his hands and gibbers, runing around the room a bit, staring at the pews in brief pauses, looking for poison on or around the shiny-shinies! He really wants the shiny-shinies.....
[sblock=ooc]Grackle casts Detect Poison with each of his 0-level slots (up to 6 of them), checking a 5-foot space around a pew with shinies in it each time. He has Craft (Alchemy) at +4 for any checks to try identifying poisons with the spell, which is DC 20.[/sblock]

"You know," says Logan as he watches Grackle's antics and hopping-about-behavior with substantial amusement, "Now that I think about it more, I'd be quite interested to see what the effects would be on this place of a Hallow spell. The problems with that are that first, I do not have the spell prepared currently, and, second, that such a casting requires extensive and expensive material items to be used in the casting."

As the Arcane and Divine casters talk shop, Jillian and Harrison can find no evidence that the coins in the first six pews are trapped in any way. The trapped pews prove fairly easy to disarm. Both had poison gas traps. Unfortunately, her efforts seem to be for naught as the pews are empty.

"Perhaps you can be usin' that gold to get yer spell components, Logan" Fin suggests indicating the piles that the others are currently counting.

"Oh by the way, did you remember to mark your path into the tomb? Just in case we need to get out to re-stock our gear" the dwarf asks.

"YEEHEE!" the gnome squeals, digging his grubby little hands into the last pile of shiny coins after checking them with his magic. "No poison heresies! SHINIES FOR GRACKLE!!!" He opens the pockets of his Handy Haversack and starts shoveling in shinies to join his precious few old shinies in there. As soon as the first pew-ful of coins is emptied, he runs to the next one to shovel more shinies into his haversack, and so on and so forth until either his haversack is full or all the shinies are gone. Then he buttons the haversack closed.

OOC: Grackle has only a few pounds in each pocket of the haversack, aside from the 12 pounds of waterskins in the main pocket.

"That is, indeed, a thought. Hmmm, perhaps, if we all agree that it should be tried, we should do just that. And, no, I wasn't marking any path. I left that to the Dwarves in the group....."
