A bit bummed that the final two pews contained nothing, Jillian shakes it off and then moves forward toward the alter. She continues to carefully search for traps of any sort being careful not to touch anything until she is sure that no traps exist.

As Jillian gets closer to the altar she can sense a faint hum from it and there is no question it is trapped.
[sblock=Zorn]As the sorcerer moves deeper into the room he becomes aware of something odd. There isn't just an absense of a magical aura in one spot on the wall. There is an area of anti-magic. The place is on the east wall directly opposite the arch. The spot is 2' wide and 4' high.[/sblock]

Fin will join Jillian at the alter seeing if he can aid her in any attempt to disable the trap, hoping their combined skills can defeat the nefarious device

Then once she is sure what it is she will confer with Fin before she attempts to disarm it. With his help she carefully attempts to disarm the trap.

Harrison is breathing so shallow as he watches the trap smiths that it almost looks like he is not breating at all. . . the suspenses in the air is thick with anticipation!

[sblock=Zorn]Closer examination shows that the area of anti-magic seems to extend to a large stone block. It is such that the block would resist any attempts to manipulate it such as stone shape or disintegrate. Above it is a small slot about the size of a coin or ring with an 'O' painted by it. [/sblock]
Jillian realizes that there are two traps on the altar one that will cause lightning and the other that would cause it to explode. She is able to disable both traps.
