Logan Lightbringer, Cleric9, AC28,FF27T17,HP76-10+3DR=69/76, DR3/-, F+9,R+4,W+11.

"Children, children! Are you honestly placing a wager on something as serious as this? :eek: Why don't you both just give me your money and I'll add a bit of my own and put it in the alms box of the temple when we return to town." :angel:

Garagos, AC 29 (T19, FF27), HP 98/107, DR 3/-, F +11,R+6,W+10

"Hey, still got some space in your fancy bubble?" Garagos asks as he steps in.

"Bah! You're all being babies. If there's a trap, which there probably is, I'll find it and get rid of it. I'm also liking that gold one, if there ain't anything valuable, I'm sure the box is." Fin says, stepping towards the gold chest and inspecting it for any devious magical devices.

[sblock=OOC]
Fin's search is +14, if he find's anything Disable Device is +14 & Open Lock is +16, not sure if you want to make those rolls Scotley.

Fin examines the chest and is a little surprised that can can find no trap. The lock proves no challenge to his skills and the box is ready to open. He does note that the chest is built into the floor and it that it will be a major operation to remove it.

Jillian Tealeaf, Rogue9, AC25,FF19,T17, HP32/37, F+4,R+13,W+5

While the others make their decisions, Jillian will take 20 on her search checks and search the entire room including all three chests, the floor, the walls and the ceiling for anything out of the ordinary.

The magic bubble is crowded as Ballista, Logan, and Garagos surround Grackle. With all the big-folk around, he scurries over to one side of the bubble, letting Garagos and Logan stay in the comparatively-flat bottom/floor of the bubble. It's some 9 feet in diameter, so nobody has to crouch, but Grackle sits along one side, letting the Admiral go. The weasel scampers up Garagos for a moment, sniffs, then hops over to Logan's shoulder instead.

"Don'cha like the bubble? It's nice an' cozy an' safe. I likes the bubble. I wish I could roll 'round in it, but it don't move." the gnome mumbles. It wasn't so noticeable before, but up close, in the bubble with Grackle........he smells. There's a nice, earthy smell of dirt and grass and flowers. And there's sweat-stink. You're not sure Grackle ever washes his socks. Or anything else. He even smells a bit of blood and ichor from monsters he's fought, or the corpses he's crawled over while adventuring with Jill and Ballista recently.

But mostly, it's just the smell of soil and unwashed socks.

"....Ya wanna play a game?" Grackle asks.

Jillian discovers a small trap door in the floor behind the chests, that all the chests are built in features of the room rather than free standing items. Most critically, whatever magical traps there might be are inside the chests and completely inaccessible to any tinkering around she might do out here.

Those of you inside the bubble soon become aware that after a couple of days of hot steamy swamps and stale dusty tomb, none of you smells even remotely pleasant.
