OOC: Is Logan still scared spitless? If so, he's slowed to a walk by now, because he's just not cut out for THAT much running.

Jillian is able to get the lock open, but the door remains magically sealed with something more powerful than a simple hold portal or wizard lock spell.

OOC: By the time Jillian has taken 20 on the searches and openings everyone has had time to return to the area.

 

[Graybeard]

Zorn slows as he begins to realize that his fear has subsided. He stops and turns around then starts to make his way back to where he left the rest of the group.

Suddenly, Logan becomes aware that he's running, but he has no idea why. He slows. He stops. He takes some deep breaths. And then it all begins to come flooding back to him! Sheepishly, he lowers his eyes and starts trudging back to the group, a very beat-down, hang-dog priest, if ever there was one!

"I don't know what to say. I just ...... well..... this really SUCKS!"

"Keep your wits about you every one!" says the fighter who didn't run.

Harrison says his little speach with the faintest of grins in evidence. He then turns his attention to the working trapspringer....

The trapspringers have reached an impasse. The secret door will not open without powerful magic. A return to the mists and the door they conceal will also require some magic to disperse or disenchant if you are to go that way.

 

[Arkhandus]

Grackle slows to a jog at Harrison's words, but continues to follow Logan, wondering what scared him so much. When Logan returns to the group near the mist, Grackle follows and tells Harrison "If big shiny men run away, shouldn't Grackle run too? Don't wanna be left behind if somethin' scary is followin'."

He just stands around without anything useful to offer, unaware of anything that would disperse the mist. He never bothered to learn any magic for unlocking things or making wind. So he just stands around and makes funny faces at the mist, mocking it.
