It was meant for last season I imagine since it had the dead FBI guy in it some.

production wise, it was taped last season but they never aired it (for some reason).

it was a fun episode though.

I imagine they took an episode that was not heavy on other episode connections specifically because it wasn't aired in its normal time slot so they wouldn't want to scare off uninitiated viewers.
