Gamer's Bag- GREAT NEWS!! (post #79)

You know what these bags need? Either custom ceramic beads on the drawstrings (I am biased) OR drilled dice as drawstring enders.

Wouldn't that be somethign to premiere at GenCon?

Good for you for handling it this way, after the last drive only 1 member of my gaming group didn't have a Gamers Bag bag. :)

Holy cow!!!! That is an awesone idea! We could drill holes through dice and stick them on the bags...why not!! Way to go alsih2o!

Since you seem open to suggestions, hows about a thin ribbon bookmark stitched to the top of the bookcovers?

See, don't ever respond positively to feedback in public forum -- you'll find people have far more ideas than you could possible accomodate

Just sent a request in on 3 leather bookcovers. Hope I can have them before the DC/MD/VA ENWorld gameday. Don't want all those grubby terrapin flippers messing up my books.... :uhoh:

One suggestion which I hope it isn't too late for this year, but could be an idea for next year is the dice box. I personally don't use dicebags, but the ornate box. It takes a dremel and skill to carve symbols, but when finished, they are pretty darned spiffy. I have been contemplating them as a side business after a few players wanted them as well.

I dunno, after ghettognome's Gamer's Bag was chewed up she moved to a box, and ever since her rolling has been very poor. She's playing an awesome minotaur fighter in our Dawnforge game, but she can't hit anything!

Egads! I switched too a box years ago and haven't had any problems at all. The velvet lining is crucial to caress the dice.

That is a VERY good suggestion!! How about a 3/8"? We just picked some up. Would y'all want to pick your colors or just have us match them for you? We're thinking we'll include one bookmark, and charge .25¢ per extra one.

...uhm, chili bag??

Yeah, chili bag... you know that tourist-trap chili stuff they sell in the Southwest? My friends bought me a pack as a joke gift (I'm from there, currently in Wisconsin) and I kept the bag as a dice bag.

Now it's an embroidered one. Well, will be :) (okay, Paladin, I'm waiting...)

Edit: bookmarks... have you seen some of the hymnals, especially the Episcopalean (spelling on that one is b0rked, I know) ones? 1/8" ribbon, but ten different colors/bookmarks. Wowza.

Speaking of bookmarks... now that would be handy. Grappling section, here you go! Spells, check. Skills (especially Concentration), check.

Y'know, if you guys put together a purple-with-gold-braid-tie dice bag that strongly resembled a Crown Royal bag, I suspect you'd make zillions. :D
