Gestalt Tank Build

First Post
I was just thinking about fun builds for a gestalt game I am playing in (my poor pally/sorc failed his will save vs. bodak stare). I was thinking of going Fighter/Warlock, and picking up Battle Caster (mithral full-plate ftw) and the Fey Touched feats, specifically Fey Skin. Does anyone else have any thoughts on how to go into this, regarding feats, incantations, and whatnot? I'm new to playing a Warlock, so any advice on them would be appreciated. The build should be 10th level.

Doesn't cover your actual question much, but your thread title made me think Paladin / Dragon Shaman. Lay on Hand + Touch of Vitality means Cha * 3 * level healing per day, not including the fast healing aura. d12 hit die and heavy armor, plus a focus on character abilities that use Con mean you'll have hit points out the ying-yang. Divine Might can give you the added damage oomph you need, at least 3 + Cha times per day.

Or, go Crusader/Knight. The white raven maneuvers that defend your allies and moves that heal or delay damage to yourself go awesome with the knight's abilities to draw aggro and defend territory around him.

I'm doing a Crusader//Martial Rogue (with fighter feats). It's pretty sweet: two good saves, 8 skill points, d10 HD, full BAB, LOTS of feats, fun class features. (But the Crusader//Knight mentioned above would be a brutally effective tank.)

Get improved critical for your Eldritch Blast. There is an incantation that allows you to channel your blast into a melee weapon. Grab that and Power Attack. Since your blasts are a ranged touch attack you can afford Combat Expertise, and Improved Combat Expertise at a later level. Those two feats alone will make you a tank and a half while maintainning hitting power. Get the two feats that improve the DC of your blasts. These will be all the more potent if you take the chainning invocation. Improved Toughness for the HP boost and you should be good to go. Oh, Lightning Reflexes since REF is your weak save.

Ohh, I had not considerd combat expertise... that's a really good idea! Thanks everybody for the help on this. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!
