Do you think Godzilla have a chance against the evil dragon gods?
Absolutely . . . but only if filmed in Japan.Bartmanhomer said:Do you think Godzilla have a chance against the evil dragon gods?
There is plenty of precedent. In the first series of Godzilla movies, Godzilla's fight with King Kong (a god) was a draw. He killed an ailing Mothra, as you mention. Megalon was a god as well, and he got trounced by Godzilla. And since King Seesar got beaten by Mechagodzilla, and Mechagodzilla got beaten by Godzilla...John Cooper said:Actually, Godzilla specifically killed a weak, old, and dying Mothra. And then Mothra's twin caterpillar offspring webbed him up in their cocoon fluid and he fell into the sea, so they effectively won that round.
However, that said, I'm still going to go with Godzilla. He's proven he can take on Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster, so what are a couple more heads on Tiamat to him?
Not necessarily. The chief requirement of being a god is worship - although Godzilla is feared and insanely powerful, he does not attract worship. Gamera, Mothra, King Kong, Battra et al are worshipped, so they are gods. There is precedent for this in D&D. The abominations in the Epic Level Handbook, especially the Hundred-Handed Ones, could probably toe to toe with a god and might even win, but they are expressly not divine themselves.Bartmanhomer said:If Godzilla is that powerful, wouldn't he be a god himself or a quasi-god?
