Great white wyrm - DEAD

Re

Invisibility Purge is a great spell for getting rid of invisibility. It has a greatrange as well. Should eliminate any pesky invisibility spells Accessiwal might cast.

Ok... lots of people gave you tactics... now, here's a few tactics to watch out for from the dragon.

1. And this is cheesy, but I had a DM pull this on me last year... MAKE SURE IT'S A REAL WHITE DRAGON. And not an albino vierson of another color. And just before I died, the dragon said, "Who'd expect a red dragon in the arctic? Gets me all your treasure, doesn't it?" SWIPE.

2. White dragons breathe water, make sure it's lair isn't completely submerged.

3. Something *I* pulled on a group... make sure the dragon isn't just a clone, and the real dragon is a polymorphed cohort or something.

4. Since any self-respecting white dragon knows you're be cold-buffed, watch out for it casting combat spells or a different energy type.... acid would be bad.

Yes, well, Wippit, after reading some of your FIENDISHLY CUNNING PLANS in the Rules Forum for the last year, I don't think you can really complain about cheese. ;)

Dang, Shade just died.

Thats why I didn't list the 13th lvl thief in the 1st post

Your group could really use a Paladin of Wee Jas...)

Hey thats my turf!

What kind of replacement character is Shade going to make?

I think he is leaning towards a druid. The archer would rock though.

We fought the dragon before so we know its a White. Doc only lets us use WoTC core books and splats as far as I'm aware.

If your cleric is evil(or rebukes undead) This is easy!

get a corpse and use create undead to create a shadow, the control her (easy with your level)

go to a small village

order your shadow to kill every one, you will need ate least 20 of then.

Go to the dragons lair with your shadows army.

Dispell the dragons protection

them it is only send all your shadows (hasted if you can) attack the dragon... the dragon´s touch AC is 4 so 95% of the shadows should hit, dealing 36d6 of str damage...

Dear SeRiAl:

Tell Nockermensch to hurry up and get his butt on to this here UNseboard.

Thank you.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled smackdown thread.

You know... it hard DMing players who have memorized every book, and know more than I do. I have to come up with situations they may not be ready for.

But darnit, albino white dragins is where I draw the line!

Empowered druid flamestrikes... SO NICE! Thats my new recomendation to shades new character.

Make sure he takes Spell Penetration (and Greater Spell Penetration, if possible...)

The problem with fire spells is that the dragon only takes double damage if it FAILS its save. So unless you can get the DC pretty comfortably above 20, it'll only be taking about 10d6 a shot instead of 42d6... (assuming a 14th level druid).

Oh, and make sure you've Greater Dispelled him at least twice before starting in with the fire spells.

I'll go back to my previous advice:

Kill more monsters!

Gain more levels!

Find more treasure!
