This is the inarguable ranking:

Fighter
Rogue
Wizard
Cleric

Ranger
Barbarian
Monk

Warlock
Sorcerer
Druid
Bard

I would say that once people embrace the true glory of Sir McStabsalot, it will be much like Demolition Man where all restaurants are Taco Bell.

All characters will be dual rapier-wielding gnomish order of the owl paladins. Or maybe that's just your idea of purgatory? :heh:

I'm thinking you mean ... McDonalds.

And yes, I would put gnomes to their best possible use. Gnome McNuggets.

With my luck they'd be tinker gnomes and they'd make the person explode if they roll a 1 on a D20. Which come to think of it, the last time I had McNuggets my bowels did kind of explode. Hmm. :hmm:

I would suggest groupings...idea being actual play not forumizing

Most used- fighter, rogue, cleric

Next - wizard druid ranger

Next paladin barbarian bard

Last sorc warlock monk

But it gets odd when multiclassing figures in.

I think a correlation between "GM variability impact on class" plays significant role.

OMG you just erased paladins from existence!!!

I'm sure it was just a typo. I fixed it

This is the inarguable ranking:

Fighter Paladin, Oath of Conquest
Rogue Paladin, Oath of Devotion
Wizard Paladin, Oath of Redemption
Cleric Paladin, Oath of the Ancients

Ranger Paladin, Oath of the Crown
Barbarian Paladin, Oath of Vengeance
Monk Paladin, Oathbreaker

Warlock PC who wishes they were a paladin
Sorcerer PC who knows they're pretty enough to be a paladin but is too lazy
Druid PC who only carves statues of paladins.
Bard PC who cross-dresses as a paladin because they're actually to lame to be a paladin.
