Halfling Fighter Help

What's the benefit of that? Why not just wield a rapier and a light shield with Weapon Focus? You'd have the same damage, AC and Reflex but a spare feat.

Of course, a tempest fighter would change things, but we're not talking about a tempest fighter.

You'd be dealing an extra damage. But I was thinking more about the character presented, and thought two-weapon fighting fit a halfling fighter more than a shield. Either would work.
