Halfling Rapper 25 Cent

Ok, the self-propelled wagon costs roughly 15 times what it's worth. I guess because they based it off animate objects...I'd think gnomish clockworks could get something rolling at around 40' for far, far less than 132,000 GP.

I've been pruning my feats pretty badly. Even with flaws allowed, there's just too many things I want, and I don't really see this guy taking a bunch of (or even 2) fighter levels.

Warlock: go for it, I don't see why you even asked :P What book is the dirge singer in?

So tell us -- what are your must-have feats? Here's what I'd take no matter what:

- Rapid Reload (more flexible than any exotic weapon prof.)
- Crossbow Sniper
- Lyrical Casting

Here's my nice to have list:

- Point Blank Shot
- Rapid Shot
- Precise Shot

Here's my if you can take Warblade list:

- Song of the White Raven
- Weapon Focus
- Improved Initiative (5th level Warblade bonus feat)
- Weapon Specialization (you qualify if you take 6 levels of Warblade)
- Ranged Weapon Mastery (requires Weapon Specialization)

Peace, -- N

Oh, and Hack, that rhyme was off the chain, I'm gonna find a karaoke version of In Da Club and spit it at the next game. I figure I'll get at least a +2 bonus to that Perform check.

I assume you mean Melodic Casting 'cause that's what we were talking about earlier. I can take warblade, but it doesn't seem to fit quite right. I tried a few ideas with it, didn't like any of them with 25c. I like PBS/RS over WF/Crossbow Sniper because I like 6d6+4 damage in two hits over 3d6+5 in one. I can really only take one or the other right now, and the two shots blow away the extra 3 damage IMO. Precise Shot would be nice, but I'm not really too worried about it. In the event everyone's locked in melee I'll have plenty of options as it is, including firing the ballista off the top of my steam powered Escalade.

This is what I want currently:

Melodic Casting 1st
Force of Personality (racial strongheart halfling -- I'm dumping Wis so I can crank up my Dex/Int/Cha, and since I'm taking the Inattentive flaw he's basically always got his mind on his money and his money on his mind...and never on the task at hand)
Skill Focus (perform) 3rd (arguably totally unnecessary, but I feel like if I want to really do it right I need to have a perform check out of this world)
Exotic Weapon (repeating crossbow) (DM is letting me replace this with the whip, and we're ruling that rapid reload lets you snap a new mag in as a free action...rules-wise it's the same thing as rapid reload, just cooler looking)
Rapid Reload (Noncombatant flaw...I don't care about melee or grappling period)
Point-blank Shot (Inattentive flaw, Wis is already shafted so this no longer matters. I've got hella boys to watch my back)
Rapid Shot (meager fortitude flaw...already my weak save so I made it abysmal. I'm gonna play him like he was a frail, sickly runt growing up and now he's just in poor health)
Leadership 6th

you wouldnt happen to play World of Warcraft under the screen name Dashade would you? I know a guy and this character reminds me of the way he plays wow. cracked me up too.

Ok. So the only I hate about this concept is that some else came up with it first. Here's what I'd add:
- Look at the Savage Bard Varriant in UA.
- Get a body guard cohort with Goad to keep punks off you.
- I think there is a Shield Other spell which would allow your crew to take bullets for you.
- Protection from Arrows (25 cent should be "bullet proof" too)
- Pay triple for all clothing and jewelery.
- Find some way to get extra ring slots. (you'll want about 10)
- I'd look at fear effects too. feats like Intimidating Strike, Combat Panache, Daunting presence
- There is a War Chanter PRC that has Inspire Recklessness as an ability.

Yo, you know, what with all the pipeweed leaf coming out of the Shire, you should know better.

I mean, really - does everyone in the party want to deal with your drug hobbit?

Drug hobbit. I like that.

I'm guessing his game is a little more casual than a lot of people's games. Either that or his character won't have a very long life!

Olaf the Stout

My games seem to get pretty casual, whether I like it or not. My most recent face to face DMing experience started going silly when the monk player named his PC "Punch." He then got the rogue player to name his PC "Stab" and the Warlock to go with "Blast." The paladin, who had a perfectly respectable name worked out, they insisted on calling "Smite" over his protests. Eventually, they decided their party ought to have a name as an organization. They dubbed it "Group."

I'd rather be in a silly game than no game at all!
