Halfling Rapper 25 Cent

World of Warcraft is a social disease, I don't tend to play that game much (read: at all) anymore.

Meh, I don't care who "came up with it first", I've never heard of something like this in my life. Somebody's cell phone went off last game and it was playing a Ludacris song, I had just died, and it clicked my wheels.

Plus I already said that 25 cent runs his set with skill and luck, not brute force and fear, so none of those suggestions apply (except for the obvious one-spend too much money on extraeneous bling). I assume that's the kind of thing you were doing?

Patlin's players sound like my group a lot.

Bwahaha the Wu-Tang Clan! The ghost-face killer would bust my ass hard, I've got like 25 HP. Luckily I've got G-Unit laying out in the weeds just waiting for some punk to roll up.

My games seem to get pretty casual, whether I like it or not. My most recent face to face DMing experience started going silly when the monk player named his PC "Punch." He then got the rogue player to name his PC "Stab" and the Warlock to go with "Blast." The paladin, who had a perfectly respectable name worked out, they insisted on calling "Smite" over his protests. Eventually, they decided their party ought to have a name as an organization. They dubbed it "Group."

I'd rather be in a silly game than no game at all!

I think as long as everyone playing enjoys the game then do whatever you want. My comment was more to the fact that, either everyone in his group enjoyed playing a slightly less serious game or if they didn't, they would probably see to it that his character didn't last very long.

I think that 25 Cent would be a great character in the right sort of game. On the other hand, I know of some DM's that would run for the hills if someone tried to play this type of character in their campaign.
