I think I'm going to shave my prodigious beard down to a goatee, scrounge up an eyepatch, and become Evil Max. Maybe draw a nice big scar on my face too. Lazy? You bet. Then again, I used to win prizes for my Hawaii Tourist costume years ago, and that was just shorts, a Hawaiian shirt and a camera. Sometimes less is more.

Shave your beard down to a goatee, paint yourself green and be Reducto!

My office team is doing 70s outfits for Halloween, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to wear, despite the fact that I grew up during the 70s and remember that decade reasonably well. I don't want to buy anything, and luckily I don't still own anything that old.

The Spirit of Hawaiian Christmas.

I'm going to scavenge an old fake Christmas tree for those fake needle thingies, to wrap around my arms and legs and such. I'll have a Hawaiian shirt, green hairspray, a bit of hair gel, no shoes, a bag hanging off my hip with coconuts, and a few flowers tucked here and there. For pants, I'm not sure. I don't know what Hawaiian pants look like.

Basically I'm going for a mix of "I'm a tree spirit," and "I'm a Hawaiian tourist." I might even shave my belly to get a nice 'big kahuna' thing going.
