Just saw the musical "Wicked" at the Gothenburg opera. I have seen it on Broadway. The Gothenburg version had much better scenography, and the actors got welldeserved standing ovations.

Was a bit weird hearing the songs in Swedish (I frequently listen to the CD with the original cast). The Gothenburg opes 36 person strong orchestra was according to i fo almost twice the size what they use at other places.

I love well done culture.

I have the cast albums from both the Mexican and Korean casts of The Rocky Horror Show. They are vastly entertaining to listen to... (There are also Norwegian, Finnish and Japanese cast albums...)

One of my favorite performances of The Taming of the Shrew was done by a local theatre group. They did it as a Western, complete with THICK Texas drawls.

Seeing Wicked is on my bucket list and was on my mom's before she passed away.

I just got home from being at the hospital for a mental health break. I feel much better and ready to face the challenges ahead.
