Today is the first birthday I will have without my mom

After many trials and tribulations, Jack has finally installed a new tub overflow drain and bottom drain in his upstairs tub.
The issues that made it more complicated than it should have been were that the required pipes were A) in between a drop ceiling and the floorboards of the upper level, B) about half an inch away from one of the crossbeams, C) the pipe for the tub overflow was up in an 8 in. x 8 in. hole, and D) the drain pipe (and another smaller pipe) for it actually ran in front of the stuff I needed to replace.
The old stuff was so old and fragile that I shattered one of the old pipes by grabbing it with a pair of pliers...

Having fun with an rpg-challenge at a Swedish forum. Supposed to write a wintery horror-scenario set in the town I live in (or a place I have lived at), and max length is 2 A4-pages. I choose to write a scenario for Call of Cthulhu Sverige, where a ghost is haunting the old (now demolished) theatre. Sadly written in Swedish. I might translate it later though.

One of the forumites over at the Reaper miniatures forums is going to be running an online game of the Star Trek Adventures: Lower Decks RPG for a group that will now include famous author Mercedes Lackey, who apparently invited herself to the game after said forumite mentioned it to her in passing, lol.
