Believe it or not, I've seen that. It was on HBO years ago. I think it's always been in the back of my mind. I've been intrigued by the idea. I didn't want them to conquer the US or anything. Like having Russia or Germany right next door.

Wakanda would probably not be high on their list of trading partners. Red Skull and Hydra would definitely be allies.

I singled out Wakanda specifically because they’re the source of the vibranium used in the alloy of Cap’s shield. As I recall, that’s ONLY available from Wakanda, so Confederate Cap’s shield probably wouldn’t have any.
