Has any company ever considered making an "Everybody Loves Raymond" MMORPG?

After all, there are nine whole seasons' worth of episodes the game's writers can draw stories from, and most of the actors and actresses from the show are still around to provide the voices for their in-game NPC's. :)

However, if the rights to the TV show are too expensive, then would a company instead create an MMORPG like the show but named something else (with differently named characters) so as to start its own brand-new IP?

A Sitcom RPG- or at least a campaign setting using a toolbox RPG- has potential. I mean, it can’t be worse than some of what’s on TV right now.

The challenge would largely be on the adventure side of things. A Seinfeldian approach might be most effective, but keeping players involved when adventuring about nothing is not without perils.

The mashups could be spectacular, though. Imagine Kramer bursting in on Tim the Toolman Taylor while he’s working on something “delicate” for Karen Walker/Edina & Pats/the Designing Women/Coach...

...Tobias Funke trying to help Adrian Monk.

The guys from Psych investigating phenomena alongside the guys from BBT...

If you fix the overflowing gutter in Episode 1, does it stay fixed after Episode 15-16 about being afraid of thunder and the electricity going out during the nasty storm? :-S
