Except there was a looooong discussion, followed by a tweet from JC that state otherwise.By the same token, Eldtritch blasts are all simultaneous.

But what is the tweet?Except there was a looooong discussion, followed by a tweet from JC that state otherwise.
Uh no, you're talking nonsense. Agonizing Blast and Repelling Blast are both applied to the same spell. If repelling blast is sequential, agonizing blast must also be sequential. But what is the tweet?
Look. Having EB blasts be one after the other doesn't make sense, given how the spell is written. Are you sure it wasn't about repelling blast?
I can definitely see Crawford responding in the context of repelling blast pushing you out of the range. Using that tweet to infer that EB fire off blasts in order is getting way outside his intention.
But.
We can't get any further without the tweet. It's no good basing your ruling on a tweet we can't read and discuss...
You really need to link the tweet at this pointUh no, you're talking nonsense. Agonizing Blast and Repelling Blast are both applied to the same spell. If repelling blast is sequential, agonizing blast must also be sequential.
Still think EB is over powered.
