Have you noticed something? Wizards is listening!

they listen every time you spend money. Not to be a cynic but there will be no AD&D there will be no randomless minis because there is no money in it (at least not compared to other products). Now to the poster who said once people get tired of prestige classes and feats we'll see 4th edition. I'll bet that's right on the nose. That's not a bad thing pound for pound gaming is amazingly cheap and no gaming company is going to be closing in on Bill Gates anytime soon.

Maybe we should start bugging them for Night Below and Dragon Mountain style mega-adventures. Not necessarily boxed sets but with poster maps, mini tiles etc. bound in or poly bagged with the mega-adventure and a wrap around cover ala Map Folio 3-d? It could still be paperback, have all kinds of cool handouts and poster maps at a lesser cost.

I agree, and I applaud WotC for listening. There are far too many naysayers around who would rather bash than praise, but I think WotC should be given credit where it's due.

I say nay, I bash, and I offer no praise or due credit.
And I'm OK with that. :p

Well, I'd prefer Dragon's Crown style to Night Below or Dragon Mountain style - less dungeon, more wilderness, and strongly tied to the setting it's for. But as for the physical description, sure.

That's a bummer. Jaded is rarely a fun place to be.
At least there's a lot of people to game with there...

It's heartening to see WotC striking a better balance between flavour and rules now, that was something I really wanted to see and they hit a high mark with Lords of Madness. Great book.

Now, I'd just like to see better editing and maybe some more OGL stuff.

I'm sure that not everyone's complaints about Wizards are being addressed, but there surely seems a concerted effort at Wizards to pay attention and do things. :)

after complaining since 1997 about an introductory book on D&D gaming for the mass market...

what i've been bugging them about since the 2000ed release...renamed:

The Complete Idiot's Guide to d02 Roleplaying

they did something about it...

D&D for Dummies.

yeah, i think they are listening. :uhoh:
