Help me name my store

Some of the decision relates to how large you intend to expand your business. If you are looking to grow your business into a franchise, you will need a name that brands well and has a strong Trademark to it. If you are planning on staying with just the one location, it doesn't matter as much.

I do, however, agree than "game" should be in the title, if possible. I like:

The Gaming Sector,
The Gaming District,
The Game lot.

Thanks for all the interest guys.

It'll pretty much be just a gaming shop (d20 stuff, vampire, etc). I'm trying to stay away from the 2 things I dislike most: CCG's and Comics. Gonna have other things like risk, stratego, and fun games (maybe some d&d related movies and such).

The only other shop in the area is called the Game Studio, so I'm not gonna be able to put any "game" in it without offending them, which is fine.

This will never franchise, as it's just my little nook in town. Just a little shop where I can sit and play D&D all day and still make money (well, that's always the hard part).

Thanks again for your help!

the brandished broadsword, the oaken flagon, by the hilt, llamasu and you, skeletons in the closet(and zombies under the bed), familiars corner , the familiars habit, magic and mundane, the kobold cobbler, stolen horde, the trapped chest, fallen dagger, critical hit, scryers corner, the spent wand, 50' rope, 6 dice and sixguns on and on and on......

personal favorite name: "the rusty scabbard" used to be in lexington, ky, may still be :)

Hmmm....I like!

Jezter, think about how the name sounds both in conversation, and on your phone greeting. Hal's suggestion sounds good to me on both of those!

That's my favorite so far. Nice, simple, keeps the door open for stocking other types and kinds of games... I like it.

Others..

Mom's Basement (too likely to get calls thinking you're a sewing shop or craft store, though)

The Great Game (what the spy trade has been called...)
