D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

Covers of Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun and Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerun.
We've known for some time that in November, WotC will be releasing not one but two Forgotten Realms books--one aimed at players, the other at Dungeon Masters. Thanks to Game Informer, we now have a look at the covers of Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun and Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerun. The article showcases more art, and is well worth checking out--and for those who want more, the print magazine has a full feature previewing the books.

These are the alternative covers, stitched together into one large print.

Source: I’m at GenCon and this is the print they are giving out. The WotC employees at the booth told us they are the alternative covers.
Interesting that they kept 3 of the 4 from.the regular cover, but substituted in the helmet guy with staff at the bottom for Minsc. The other three are still recognizably the same.

Now that's what I'm talking about!!! Tells a story, fantastical, demonstrates scope, and lets me in on the setting.

Abstract style is also perfect for alt-covers.

Another case where I'm a bigger fan of the alt cover than the standard cover.

I would also have accepted a cover with a stylized image of a kitchen sink. That would capture the theme of the Forgotten Realms perfectly. Plus, if it was a clogged kitchen sink, it would convey a sense of mystery and danger. Why is this sink clogged? What dangers lurk beneath the murky water? :P
