Could be mage hand and prestidigitation, could be levitate or animate object. Order of the Scribes does give the Wizard a “walking spell book” at some level, and Bard College of Creation gives a dancing item - lots of options from window dressing descriptions to actual spells and abilities.
I’m sure it’s going to spark some group discussions like D&D Hat Owlbear Druid has done.
It's quite nice BUT I dislike art that isn't possible in the game
If a wizard cannot do what is in the picture then don't use it.
I like forward to looking at the new book and working out how then. But wizards can do this.
There's very little that can't be done in a game that involves magic. Furthermore, more often than not, D&D pictures often underestimate what can be done in the game. It's quite nice BUT I dislike art that isn't possible in the game

I think there's a place both for "portrait" art and "scenario" art. TheSame, this is pretty but I'm tired of heroes in context-free generically cool poses. I miss the old school art that more often than not tended to tell a story. It's been this way since 3rd edition and while it's gorgeous, it lacks soul.
Animate Objects, just off the top of my head.I like forward to looking at the new book and working out how then.
