Paizo has posted both full-color and printer-friendly versions of the official character sheet for Pathfinder 2nd Edition!
Paizo wanted to integrate at the outset the different magic of the world that it has established in their publications while also streamlining the spell lists. So they had the idea of four different magical essences: spiritual, vital, material, and mental. Each spell list is assembled with a combination of these essences in mind and there is a governing skill associated with each spell list.Also and I know this is likely old news, but why Occultism? Why? That's such a random change....

Material/Mental -> Arcane Spell List -> Arcana
Spiritual/Vital -> Divine Spell List -> Religion
Mental/Spiritual -> Occult Spell List -> Occultism
Material/Vital -> Primal Spell List -> Nature
Bards now use the Occult spell list. Druids use the Primal spell list. The Sorcerer spell list depends on which bloodline they choose.
And saved.Fan-made character sheets are being made to try and correct it. Here is one of my favorites by Bluejay64: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1C14hl6biXxpBnElLSwfo6UK1c-RRubWU That is much cleaner and closer to the 1E sheets. He is still working on them he said, needs to add a couple more things, but so much better IMO.
Even the printer-friendly might do a number on your black cartridge, but, aesthetically, evokes a 3e sheet.
Don't see the problem
I believe both editions also suggest giving hero points for "group service" like buying food for the group, cleaning, hosting, etc.
"Hero points" have been around for a while. A form was in the 3e Unearthed Arcana called "Action Points". They're in the 5E DMG. I want to say I remember using them even back in 2E but unsure if it was an official supplement or something from Dragon Magazine.
I think it's not too bad. It is not pretty, but clear and functional.
It even made me want to try PF2, until I found myself on the second page with the blank space for feat lists and remembered the amount of things I have to handle in game.
So they changed "Race" to "Ancestry". Thats just an example of many of how Paizo is letting the reality of politics into their RPG. They don't want to offend the eternally offended by changing the terms of game mechanics in their game.
Call me crazy but I think I actually prefer the black and white "design atrocity" to the slimmed down retro sheet. Sure, maybe there are too many pages and the first one is probably rather too busy, but most of it is pretty clean, well delineated, and expansive; very good for quicker referencing for those lacking in system mastery.
And if you want to actually plan your character ahead it is pretty easy to lightly write down the feats you plan to take. Heck, if you have a lot of time to kill you could practically write in your whole advancement in the proper spots and then just pencil over it darker when you actually reach that level.
I understand the distaste some of you have for it, but I think we should withhold judgement until we can actually use it in play.
Now the brown colour scheme of the colour one; I would be interested to hear the justification for that.
