The Dungeon Master said:
Once someone is damaged by a barb, the barb remains in them until removed; removing it is a full round action which will cause 1d6+3 pts. of damage to the victim. Whenever someone with a barb moves (even if they move out of the initial area) they will take 1d4+2 pts. of damage per square of movement taken, as the barb continues to gouge them.

Almost as soon as this has happened, Vale steps around his friend, to deliver two more blows against the downed bear!

Vale's chops are every bit as impressive as Kleborn's, and the bear is dire trouble, being wounded 4 times in the space of a few seconds! The bear's fur is soaked in blood, as the stone barbs, and the blows from Kleborn and Vale have all taken a serious toll!
Valoran says, in Common: "There, there, Fido! Go to sleep. Good boy!" in a mocking tone!

Suddenly, the door that Tam spiked shut slams open, having been kicked from the other side! Two female Giantesses emerge, both wearing servants clothes, carrying enormous rolling pins!
The first Maid through the door points her rolling pin at Travis, and screams in anger!
