Okkay! (By the way, Solos Addie, need your character's name and alieases)

BRICKFACE:
You wake up in a small, 10x10 room. Dirty white-washed walls surround you, and a single phosphorous light on the ceiling bathes you in an eerie light.
You find youself unable to move. You look down to find yourself bound in thick, metallic cables. This would not normally be able to stop you, but the cables, ironically, appear to be made with the same substance as your ship. The one thing you can't bust through.
Whoever put you here also appears to have discovered the secret of Lithidium. When an electric current flows through it, it becomes exponentially stronger.
You can't remember how you got here. The last thing you remember was crashing on this god-forsaken planet after your afterburners malfunctioned halfway through a jump. You were knocked unconcious upon landing, and woke to find yourself here.

Solos:
You are in a similar room as Brickface, but instead of being bound with an alien matter, you are trapped in a force cage. You have already tried teleporting out, and have found it impossible. Everytime you tried, you were stopped immediately and zapped each time.
Last thing you remember was being confronted by this large man in an expensive suit. He had asked you to follow him and you refused. He smiled at you as something collided with your skull from behind. You woke up in this room.

****************************

Both of you have been in your respectiuve rooms for two hours when the lights start to flicker. Solos's force cage also flickers. With a start, the electricity goes out. Both of your are bathed in darkness. What do you do? Note the force cage and the elcetrical cuffs appear to have shorted out as well.

The Stony alien cocked his head as he senses the Power going out. No longer could he hear the low level hum of current strengthening his Lithidium tethers. If one could discern emotion from the stone-faced alien's expression one would see hope. Yet his visage remained inscrutable to human eyes. He flexed his unearthly muscles against the restraints. Perhaps, with luck and effort he could free himself. If not by breaking the Lithidium Cable then surely the Terran Metal it was anchored into. He flexed, strained, and struggled with all of his might.

My home PC went and fizzled out on me. I am currently having it fixed.

So until it is fixed I have to post from work.
As it was my "weekend" (Monday & Tuesday are my days off...mostly) Today was my 1st chance to reply.

Actually I had no idea the IC board was up until today.

sorry bout your computer, hope it's all fixed soon. glad you can still contribute :)

i don't know how good your hearing is, but you may hear some taps coming from one of your walls briefly.

Alright.

As Brickface flexes his granite muscles, he begins to hear the screeching of metal on stone. With one loud grunt, he yanks his arms to the side, and the alien metal shatters. He does the same with his feat.

Solos: You can hear this through the wall to your left. It is rather frightening.

Both of you are now free. Solos has an idea that some big scary thing's his neighbor, now what?

Brickface (for his true name would be incomprehensible to you the gentle reader) stood free from his bonds he swung his blocky head from side to side looking for a way out. Hearing muffled indecipherable protests from one area he decided to concentrate his efforts there. He bowed his head and touched the ground lightly with one mitt. He glanced up and threw himself headlong in that direction.

Solos: You manage to nimbly dodge aside as a great granite juggernaut smashes through your wall. Masonry flies everywhere, and for a second you can't tell what's him and what's wall.

Brickface: Same, but you're the one doing the smashing.

Brickface looked and saw the small humanoid. A terran! He immediately took a combat stance just in case the man was one of his captors. But no, it quickly registered that he was a fellow prisoner.

He spoke in the language that percentage wise the majority of Earthling's spoke....Chinese.

[sblock=in Chinese] "Where are we? Why are we prisonors?[/sblock]

I should have read some of yours first. My reply's seem boring compared to yours.
Glad to see everyone's back in the swing of things. Hope to run into you both soon.
