I actually pretty much liked this episode, which is a nice change of pace. I LOVED the children singing the theme to Greatest American Hero. That was way cool. :)

Agreed - the Greatest American Hero thing just made me all misty eyed... ;)

Over all, a fairly decent episode. Sure, a couple scenes seemed like forced add-ons that broke a little from the tone of the rest (I mean, you can have different stories but they usually hold together with some theme or parallelism), but I guess over all it was fine.

Some people were commenting in earlier threads about how the suicide roommate angle would get dropped. but, they did address/explain it this episode.. ;)

As a random point, I just realized that the elderly woman doctor who was treating the deaf lady (and said she was her mother) is the same actress from Star Trek: DS9 (that recurring bajoran kai that Kira and Sisko hated). Her voice still makes me shiver with contempt (for that character, not the actress ;) ).

Peter still needs to get his power back, hell, just lets him think about a power, aka as Sylar showed him!

Sylar in the freak show, oh, yea that is going to work out well.

Claire and her teen drama, who cares.

Another forgettable episode.

Rating 2/5 which is about average this season, figure they will have only 2 or 3 shows that just kick a$$.

I like this episode. And honestly, though college drama's not particularly interesting to me, Claire's actress (Hayden P . . . however you spell it) is really engaging.

The whole season so far has been interesting.

This season has had its interesting moments, but it feels like two episodes worth stretched over five. I'll keep tuning in (I've stuck with it through far worse), but I'm not really feeling like they have a strong direction for the show to go in.

This is the same feeling I received. As I watch Heroes, I can't help but think that even their mini seasons are too long. I am interested to see how important this music ability will be (up until this episode it seemed about as useful a power as being blue).

It may be that the writers are trying to expand the world's notion of powers a bit. So far all the powers manifested are useful in some way, but there must be a whole lot more people who don't have a "combat useful" ability and just get hippy vision; though at the end where she crack the drywall makes me rethink that.
