So, is a certain character dead? I get the feeling they're going to cheap out on it, and have him get healed by Peter or something.....but it was a really gutsy move he pulled, and an intriguing way to get rid of a certain other character.

Yep, but then they go and show you the trailer for next week and SPOIL IT! Overall, it was a good one, the interaction between Parkman and Sylar was entertaining.

Erf, glad I didn't watch the trailer, I at least got a few hours of thinking that the show FINALLY did something right. Massively courageous on the part of Parkman, and an excellent way to finally get rid of Sylar, while still keeping the cool Sylar power around.

Yeah, it's why I skipped it as well. Unfortunately upcoming trailer spoiler info sometimes makes it into the current week's episode discussion (which I understand, but don't appreciate).

There's some cold-blooded killers in the carnival family. I think they need to start introducing some more that will get killed in fairly short order to up the stakes of this season before we get too much further along. I think this season needs to have a good HRG rampage, so the carnival family will have to get ahold of Claire at some point, too. Just like with Hiro cleaning up the Charlie loose end, Peter needs to rescue Irish. Oh, yes, and Lyle needs to off Mister Muggles in a fit of envy. These things need to happen this season.
