Pirates of the Caribbean: Better than Terminator 3 to me. I swear to the powers that be.

I saw both on Sunday night, and got much more out of the first one than the second one.

I'm not even sure when Pirates is due out here.

You know EK, one of these days you'll have to move out of the decaying urban wasteland you live in and go somewhere where the pace of life is a little less hectic and the public transport system works :D

You know, I can't think of a comeback to that :D

Good Morning!

We only get comic adaptations, sweat epics and soft core films here first; films with depth don't show up in theaters until they can be picked off the banckrupt carcus of the filmaker. No, I'm not cynical at all :D

Sure. Ruin my attenpmts to convince more of the Hive to move to Sunny Brisbane* :)

*Where we have nearby movie cinemas, and a Mostly working public transport system. And a lower cost of living than many other states, which is always fun :D

Ahh BrisVegas ... all the delights of large numbers of cockroaches, 99% humidity for January and February, weather forecasts which refuse to admit that it rains ... 'the occassional shower' = 'will rain continuously all day', very cold mornings in winter (the benefits of being an inland rather than a coastal city), a brown river upon which floats the most hideous party barge complete with fake palm tree (presume it is still there) ... all of which are balanced somewhat by the excitements of having dragons living in your backyard. :p
