Thanks, Crothian. I like the review, but I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about the magic system. It was why I bought the book - I like(d) Jordan's stuff, but I doubt I'll ever run a game there. However, pilfer his magic system? Hell yeah! :)

I wasn't that impressed with the system and didn't want the review to sound to negative. The overchanneling rules are okay, but I think the system would have been better served as a free form magic system.

It's still the basic spell level syatem, they just made it a little more versatile. I would have liked to see a lot more versatile a system. I think they didn't want to reinvent the wheel so to speak, but I think that's what was needed.
