I would like to think so, but several persons have come out very strongly against the topbar. I think I'm just wasting my time, but I'll press on because I'm learning the intracacies of PHP as a result.

I rather like it. I checked it out on the Dusk site, and found it useful. The current blocks are fine, but I think your top bar has some added functionality in the drop down menus. If you fixed the download time I don't see what anyone would have against it. Well, good luck with it. You've done a nice job thus far with it.

I really doubt anyone hates you, you should not take it personally. It is a nifty toolbar, but the load time sucks.
