I seemed to take from the OP that there was an awards show and nobody from Wizards/Hasbro showed up to get their award. Not sure if this says more about the show or Wizards. I'm guessing that the Hugos are big in certain sci-fi circles and not in corporate Wizards, but I would have to think that they got an invite saying their movie was up for an award and should have sent someone.

Hasbro/WotC did intend for Three Black Halfings to be their representatives. They chose a local(ish) group rather than fly someone for an unexpected win.
