It's not just about highway robbery. I found this to be an interesting and entertaining video. If I get to run a game in the future where there are bandits, pirates, etc. - or if we play as such - I will definitely be incorporating roadblock taxes, ransoms, franchising, and even primitive stock exchanges to fund ventures.
