How do you pronounce 'EN World'?

Sorry to you Other people, but saying "enworld", besides being a blasphemy against the great Eric Noah, is a sign of serious genetic deficiencies.

I would pronounce THAC0 as thay-co, except that afaic thac0 died the death it so richly deserved. I did refer to it as "tak zero" and "taco" sometimes, though, just for kicks.

Drow rhymes with cow.
If I hear it any other way I assume the speaker meant "Dr. Ow" and I administer a clinical beatdown, stat!

Of course in your own home you can call them whatever you want, I suppose. Hehe.

I've always pronounced enworld as well. Not E.N. World. It's easier to just say enworld and sounds smoother. And you wouldn't call the ennies the E.N.nies...would you?

I usually said "I'm going to go play some other RPG now" but that was just because I didn't like 2e, but do like 3e (my preference in this case is based on factors other than the existence of nonexistence of THAC0).

Morrus, I have always pronounced it E.N. as well, for obvious reasons, but I can see why your anonymous gamer called it "EN-world" - when you look at the Title, there are no periods, to indicate an abbreviation! Someone who wanders to this site without knowing anything about its origins will look at the title on your enworld. org home page and not realize that it's an abbreviation.

Interesting thing - if this site were to fold tomorrow, it (and Eric's former site) would still stake a place in the history of gaming - though whether it deserves a whole chapter or just a couple of paragraphs I'll leave to the historians.
