How do you pronounce 'EN World'?

i say Enworld, like N-World. Its just easier. Why call a GIF GEE AYE EFF, or say a whole abbreviation instead of shortening it even more for colloquial (sp?) use! ? ?!

It's still N-World. the only difference is that us en-worlders don't add that silly "EE" like we are going into a verse of EE Aye EE Aye Oohh!

I say n-world to newbies or those who are still a little new to it, and I just call it "the boards" to those who know it. Faster that way.

As I implied in a previous post, it can be pronounced both ways. EGG posted that he meant it to be pronounced so that it rhymes with "cow", but that many people pronounce it so that it rhymes with "grow" and that that is okay, too.

How very odd this is. Until I read this thread, it never crossed my mind that someone would say it as enworld. Just because someone's initials spell a pronounceable word, doesn't mean you say it that way. E. N. World it is, and E.N. World it shall stay, in *my* world, at least.

Ok, how many of you pronounce the word "tome" as "toom" or "tomb"? I know at least a couple of people that do that.

well seeing as how I was one of the 3 people who came up with it, and hell for that matter produced the first logo (that was used for all of like 3 days untill Liquide yelled at us) I've pronounced it E.N. World since it's inception as a two bit webpage hopeing to catch a bit of glory by stealing Erics name. When I'm talking about the site to people I know though I just call it Erics.
