How does one address a baron?

"Oi! You! Yeah, you, the ugly one!"

. . . this assumes that your PCs are extremely powerful and preferably own their own kingdom or two.
Otherwise "My lord" sounds like a good bet.

Two options: "Your Lordship" is a more serious one (and a safe bet when dealing with any nobility short of royals).

But you can't beat calling the Baron "Your Baronship".

:D

It may also be correct in your setting to address him as "Baron Midwood" -- or, probably by equals, as simply "Midwood." Might form a bit of colour for you somewhere.

There's also a chance, again based on your setting, that he has some level of military rank, so I wouldn't rule out "Captain Smith" or whatnot. It's probably, but not necessarily, bad form to stack all his titles, but who knows; it might be a good idea to call him "His Lordship Baron Captain Smith of Midwood, Esquire" after all.

Cheers,
Roger
