Yep, that's some great stuff.

Mongoose's Conan RPG is simply
awesome.
I'm (still, though irregularly) running one heavily modified 3e campaign, with material from Paizo, EN World, Bastion Press, my own strange brain. . . and more! I also play (a homebrew Fighter) in another, that being considerably modified as well. Otherwise, it's other (non-D&D) systems right this moment.
Third party material and house rules are taken to be very much the order of the day - as ever it was, I might add - in the local scene (or at least, those parts of it that I'm in, or even aware of at all).
FWIW, 4e's not even a blip on the radar, from my own groups through to the various ones I hear about. *shrug* Oh well.
It's heartwarming to hear about so many DMs and players here, still using the brilliant - if not,
of course, perfect - system that 3e continues to be (funny that, how it actually
didn't suddenly get worse when that might've been convenient). . .
and, so many excellent 3pp products. After all, that's one of the (*very*) strong points of 3e, that staggering array of options, many of them so very 'niche' it's unlikely such a thing will come about again. . .
Except maybe in the Pathfinder age. We'll see.
