I was going to say that incredibly I only saw it once. However, I see from the poll and the post that I'm not alone in that boat.

Julie and I didn't get to see the movie until a little more thant a month ago. We live in an area where movies are only shown in French. Since I generally despise French translations, and that the first theatre showing movies in English is more than 300 km away, it took us a while to find a way of seeing it.

We just haven't had the chance of seeing it again. When the DVD gets out though... :D

re

I've seen it only once. Saw the first one three times, the second one twice, and the last one once. They seemed to get worse as time goes on. I can barely watch The Two Towers and Return of the King without wincing at the way P.J. missed the mark by a mile on several characters. Now, I'm not even sure if I will be purchasing the trilogy. I'll probably just stick with my trusty books.

I said two, but in actuality, I seen it three times, technically.. I went the midnight show on the first night. No I didn't fall asleep, but with everyone cheering and booing(at the bad guy) and jumping up and down, etc, I really didn't see the movie, I experienced it..

SEVEN times...thats right.....PJ fooled me seven times!!

I kept going back because he swore to me he was bringing my character back for the final installment. He brought Gandalf back, so I figured it was only fair.

Anyway, I kept watching and watching, but never saw my scene.

I guess I will just have to wait until the EE to see The Balrog of Morgoth return!! ;)

EDITED FOR PUNCTUATION( I thought all Balrogs were literate?!)

I've seen each of the movies three or four times in the theater (three for RotK) but I've already seen the EE DVDs three times that. And I've had them out on loan for a few months or I'd probably have watched them again already. ;)
