Lots of us about the hitpoint tax of traps, and how Investigation should be used for hidden drawers.

But if you want to engage the players with your unique content, you need to go beyond the roll and encourage interaction. For instance, the PHB suggests that a hidden drawer should not be find after a simple roll, but requires some active research. An interaction between the DM and the player. The concept in fact isn't limited to obstacles and secrets, it extends to any scene you want to make interactive, including scenes where you show/tell the player world's lore.

And of course, you can always improvise.
