How to tell when your Campaign has jumped the shark

32.PC's want to press quickload and try the fight again.

33.Items less than 35000 GP are 'throwaway rubbish'.

Fark.com gags appear on your website.

34. Alternative future versions of the party leader's unborn son show up to give advice.

35. Regis makes a cameo appearance.

36. The DM can't come up with setting so the group becomes "Sliders" spending a week in Greyhawk, a week in the Forgotten Realms, a week at a John Tesh concert, etc...

37. Your players decide it's more fun to role-play earning money with their craft/profession skills than actually go on your next adventure.

38. Your players are watching TV and don't want to come back to the table, telling you "Quiet! It's the episode where Fonzie jumps the shark tank!"

I have seen a few D&D references made by posters on Fark. I grin when that happens.

How about when your DM starts giving you so much treasure you just write down '110k worth of jewels,' per combat, and then he tells you no matter where you are in the world you can buy whatever magic item you want, including made up ones with the magic item creation chart in the back of the DM's guide.

This actually happened.

For a campaign I ran several years ago, it was when the BBEG got away, and made his way into the 2nd level of Hell. The PCs got as far as Sigil to hunt him down, decided better of it, and went back home. Oh well.

-Wedding after wedding after wedding

-The DM doesn't show up, so tonight's session is a "remember the time when we..." clip show.

-Tonight, on a very special D&D....Lidda comes face to face with the fact that she's not a little girl anymore.

-The adventurers are going to Hawaii!

-Mialee returns after leaving her husband and brings her unbearably cute daughter, Olivia.

Bravo, Meepo! Bravo! :D

I'd like to add some more to the list...

- One of the PCs begins recieving advice from a little green alien that only he can see.

- "Who is the father of Alhandra's child? Tune in next week to find out."

- Mialee quits adventuring to persue a movie career, and is replaced by Kirstie Alley.

- Nebbin's fiancee dies from licking envelope glue.
