D&D (2024) I just got a 2024 PHB From Gen Con. AMA!

I don't think so. You can't use the Magic Action when you action surge or with the extra Haste action. So looks like you're limited to 12 (if you can replace both attacks with cantrips, I'm not sure on that part).
You should be able to cast a cantrip using war magic because that is using the attack action and allows you to replace an attack with a cantrip. I still don't think the extra attack from bard that allows you to replace an attack with a cantrip should stack with war magic.

Assuming that it does work however you would need the following
Fighter lvl 7
Bard lvl 6
Sorcerer lvl 2
Warlock lvl 2 Agonizing Blast, Pact of the Blade, +1

Warcaster: for casting in melee range

At this point you can attack with Eldritch blast with agonizing blast (3 beams) and then a wizard cantrip every round while also being able to use sorcery points to quicken Eldritch blast to cast as a bonus action. If you action surge that give you a 3rd Eldritch blast and a 2nd wizard cantrip. As far as haste goes I would rule that since the bards ability to swap out a cantrip is part of the extra attack action and haste only lets you make one attack I would let you swap it out for a wizard spell but not Eldritch blast

That is 3 wizard cantrips and 3 Eldritch blast (for 12 beams). All of this is at level 17 you have only gotten 3 feats and one of those needs to be warcaster so I'm guessing that you will have an int 16, cha 20

There is no "Extra Attack" action. It's still just the Attack action.

Ruling it that way would also stop two weapon fighting, sneak attack, and lots of other things from working with extra attack too.

Side note: your not using a spell slot.
So it could be.
3 EB+ 2 firebolt + 1 quicken fireball.

And if you took repelling blast, you could probably clump up enemies pretty well.

It's more that the hast spell allows you to make another attack action but you may only make one attack. The ability that valor bards get is part of their extra attack ability that is why I don't know if it would work on that one.
Don't worry about repelling blast instead just spend the extra point and drop it right on top of you, already have conjure minor elementals or one of those types of spells on you.

Nothing says you need to make 2 attacks to convert one to a cantrip.

Oooh... Yea.

That does work on every "attack", not just weapons. Limited range but it might be better than running haste.

Too bad it's wizard/druid.
Maybe a level 10+ bard could grab it.

We've seen lots about weapons, especially with regard to the new Weapon Mastery rules, but little to nothing about armour.

Are there any changes to the armour list or descriptions, or is it exactly the same as the 2014 rules?

 ... I mean, how is my Dragon Sorcerer supposed to show off their heritage by changing into a mighty dragon? This has annoyed me since 2014. Back to writing up my Wyrmform homebrew spell.
Remember, it makes no sense at all for a dragonborn draconic sorcerer to become a dragon.

But Timmy the gnome bard who plays the triangle..... yeah it's all good for him to become a dragon....

Haven't seen any mechanical changes to the armor itself, but there was a great design choice in putting the don/doff information in the armor chart instead of in a paragraph below.

Can you check the write-up for barbarian's Brutal Strike? I've heard a couple different explanations of what it finally ended up as in the PHB, and would like to be sure.

Minor changes involving how to equip/unequip shields and the penalties for nonproficency in shields have changed (making them closer to weapons in this regard) but the actual armor didn't change.
