Of course, I've got to have it all. It's my all-consuming passion and hobby :)

Yeah, I am in that group too! I'm also a Wizards fanboy who agonizes while waiting for new material between releases... (sigh)

I've already ordered the prime 3 from Amazon.ca. I'm very impressed with the prices, a lot better than Chapters, which used to be my prime online book site.
The minis look cool, except that the'll be random. They'll have to be very good and cheap to get me to buy random figures.

IIRC, SKR promised us a version of the SRD annotated with 3E -> 3ER changes. Personally I'm going to wait on him, then evaluate my "need" for new core books based on what has changed, then go from there. At this point, I suspect I'll find the new MM the most tempting, followed by the PHB and DMG.

3E d20 has sucked way more of my money than I ever anticipated. Unfortunately I see 3E->3.5E as 1E->2E and with the unofficial anouncement of Unearthed Arcana I am even more convinced. I love 3E and in order to cut my financial losses I will not purchase anything 3.5. No need to repurchase everything since I see no need for a more complex and power ramped up version when the one I have works fine.

I don't get it. Convinced that the games are going to be substantially different? how has the rumour of a book of campaign options going to convince you of that?

Let's see...

Order of purchase:
* Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed, with FLGS store credit.
* PHB, with FLGS store credit and/or Walmart prices.
* MM & DMG, same.

Also:
* Prepainted mini's, from Potomac Distribution in bulk.

I'll for sure buy the three core books for 3.5 and some of the miniatures as a time saver, 'cause life is to busy to paint. As for the new Unearthed Arcana book, I don't really know. I dosen't sound that great right now based on the little info that's known about it.

3 core books via Amazon. Further books remain to be seen.

Plan on getting at least some of the minis. Not sure how crazy I'll get with them just yet.

None of them. I'll just print out the relevant sections of the SRD. Well, maybe Unearthed Arcana....more details are needed before I make that decision though.

I will be picking up Arcana Unearthed though.
