Sounds like a cool restaurant and a cooler name. What came first the restaurant or the song?

Probably the song.

Bo's has the distinction of being the only fast-food joint I know of that carries dirty rice. I never actually order the dirty rice of course. But it's good to know it is there if I needed it.

what is dirty rice?

Clueless Yankee...
[/ignorance]

It's rice with cajun seasonings. It also usually has chicken gizzards ground up in it and, sometimes, it has veggies. I've never had Bojangles dirty rice, but I really like Popeyes.

Oh, well all is forgiven then. ;)

It is a damn good thing that I've never had too much of a sweet tooth. My only real craving these days is Krispy Kremes. Once in a great while I dose up on a ton of insulin and have a few but I try not to make it a habit.

Apparently you are an amateur diabetic. :) My wife loves Krispy Kreme - the secret is to get the ones without glaze. These are the ones the conveyer belt coming down the line before they go through the glaze waterfall. Sometimes my wife has trouble ordering these, especially if the person is someone to whom English is a second language. She'll get "oh we don't sell those" to just flat out not understanding. But they will sell them, and do. And as a bonus, they're super hot, so you'll always be guaranteed to get a fresh, hot donut.

Why would I want to eat them without the glaze? Maybe I'll try this sometime just to say I've tried.

Do they have Bojangles in Arizona? Get ya some BoBerry!

(everyone must damage their pancreas as I have done).
Unfortunately, no. :(

I was in New York about three years ago and discovered it. I was hooked. Wish they'd expand westward.

Well, I avoided the urge to kill my pancreas this morning. No Bojangles. Just some oatmeal and orange juice at home. After Friday's sugar intoxication, I am doing my best to eat healthy.

I've had the rice in the Zatarain's mix, but I'm sure it's not the same thing.
