Legend
A runner was sent for Lord Faldur at Kulligan's Cairn, and after some interval, he arrived to take formal possession of the Steading. Laerthar gathered all of the remaining giants (there were very few) and cowed any who were resistant to the surrender. He spoke briefly with Lord Faldur and then bowed and headed north-west, leaving the Steading behind. Lord Faldur's men cheered and patted Bible, Quinn, Valda, and Jack on the back, or nodded their respects, or gave a huzzah.
After their time huddled in the Cairn, hiding from their enemies, the small force of mostly humans took to the Steading with relief, manning the tower and the kitchens. They threw a celebration of victory, and Lord Faldur gave a speech, exulting their deeds. But privately, later, he spoke to him of his concerns, Snurre? Grugnor? These are powerful giant kings."
"Can I dare ask, after all you have done? Would you brave an expedition to the Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl?"
